If you don't have anything nice to say, keep quiet and write about it later.

Writing is a passion of mine. It always has been. In my freshman year of high school, my teacher, who was (and still is) coincidenally the creative writing teacher, had us write our own fictional short stories. This is what really sparked my love for writing, and it has been festering and growing ever since. I took that same teacher's creative class in my junior year of high school, and I learned so much from the class. Through the class, I gained an appreciation for poetry that I had been lacking in the past. But what I really gained, what I really took the class for, was short story skills. My short story skills improved so much. The two short stories I wrote in that class are my pride and joy, and I hope to do more with them in the future. If you are wondering, those two stories are 'The Family Façade' and 'Knowing and Knowing Not'. The two stories are both a bit on the graphic side, but I think you'll manage.
